I purchased this costume for Halloween parties. I was a bit skeptical by all the reviews on various sites but I am happy I decided to buy it! Overall it is a perfect (sexy little) mermaid costume. The top fits great just have to tie it like the picture, I am 34B. The skirt fits like I imagined, not too restrictive but not loose either. To complete the look, I bought a red wig and the seaweed boa. I must say I enjoy dressing up every halloween but this year I am very excited about this costume. I am 34B, 115lbs, I bought a small.

The top doesn't fit exactly like the image. The criss-cross in the front puckers and doesn't lay flat. The fabric was good for the look because of the mylar reflective discs. But, it makes it very rough and itchy against your skin. My collar bones were abraded by the end of the night. The tail of the skirt didn't flair out as much as I had hoped but looked cool when you walk.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend
