I love Ellie shoes because they are the ONLY costume shoes that ARE TRUE TO SIZE. I wear a size 6 (very rarely a 6.5) and I cannot wear any of the other brands of costume shoes because they run small and do not come in half sizes and a size 7 is way too big. So I ALWAYS try to find out who the manufacturer is, and then I only purchase Ellie. These shoes are gorgeous and VERY well made. The sequins are tightly sewn and overlapped on the shoe and heel so there are no spaces in between (which I have often seen with other sequined shoes) and they have some scattered gold sequins blended with all the red that you can't really see except up close, but just sparkle. They also have a nice quilted padded sole that is from the heel to just prior to the toes that is even trimmed with lace! And I couldn't get over the sale price at Costume Craze - fantastic! However, I thought this was a 5 inch heel with a 2 inch platform, making the shoe really a 3 inch shoe. It's not. The heel measures 5.25 in height with only a 1.3 inch platform, making it a 3.95 heel or almost 4 inches. And while I could wear that for a short time at a party, there is no way I could go walking around from club to club and then dancing in them all night. But they are just so pretty I might keep them anyway, wear them at the party and then change to lower heels. If you can dance in 4 inch heels all night then I HIGHLY recommend these because I found them comfortable despite the heel height. But as we all know, all feet are VERY different and you just will not know until you try. For this price (I got them at the price of [$] they are about half the price as from other retailers and you should take a chance.
